Our Story
At JetSun, our passion for personal watercraft (PWC) runs deep. Since 1986, our team has been riding the waves, pushing the limits, and soaking in the thrill of life on the water. We’ve spent thousands of hours doing everything from jumping waves and breaking speed limits to fishing, touring, and simply reveling in the freedom that personal watercraft offer.
Our journey began in the frigid waters of New York, where the chill in the air made every ride an adventure. But as our love for PWC grew, so did our desire for warmer waters. This brought us to the Sunshine State—Florida, where the sun shines brightly, and the water is always calling. It didn’t take long to realize that while Florida offers endless opportunities for fun on the water, it also comes with a challenge: the relentless sun.
A simple hat and sunblock wasn’t enough. On a personal watercraft, there’s nowhere to hide from the sun’s rays. We wanted to keep riding, exploring, and enjoying the water without the discomfort of direct sunlight. That’s when the idea for JetSun was born.
We set out to create the first Bimini top designed specifically for personal watercraft of all makes—Sea-Doo, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and more.
